This message is a USB Transmission Error and means that the computer cannot interact with the sensor even though the sensor is plugged in and may appear to be recognized properly.
You can try the following to resolve.
- Reinstall the sensor drivers with the latest version. They can be found on our Resources page.
- Check the sensor connection, make sure that the sensor is fully plugged into the computer and does not feel loose.
- If using a USB extender or hub, try plugging the sensor directly into the computer to confirm that it is not the source of the bad connection.
The cable on the sensor is repairable.
