When using your Claris intraoral camera in Eaglesoft/Patterson Imaging, you may run into an error stating 'Unable to view preview stream'. This is most likely due to the camera being plugged in after Eaglesoft/Patterson Imaging is already running. In order to resolve this issue, take the following steps.
- Completely close out of Eaglesoft/Patterson Imaging, making certain there are no instances or windows open anywhere on the computer.
- Ensure the camera is plugged in and is being recognized by the computer.
- Log back into Eaglesoft/Patterson Imaging and open video acquisition.
- If you're still having the issue, a full restart of the computer in question may resolve the issue. Keep the camera plugged in for the entirety of the restart.
