If the live video feed of your Claris i4D camera is looking scrambled, as if you're having bad reception on an old, antenna television, there may be internal damage to your camera. If you're seeing green lines along the bottom of your video, please take a look at our article regarding video standards.
To confirm that this is the issue, you can try moving the focus slider of your camera up and down, it should manipulate the scrambled image on the screen, sometimes even bringing the correct image back.
Unfortunately, when this issue begins to occur, the camera will need to be sent in for repairs. Even though the image may sometimes correct itself, there is already damage internally and it will only become more of an issue before you lose image altogether.
